This ball was signed by the Atlanta Brave's rookie sensation, Evan Gattis a.k.a. El Oso Blanco. Evan's story is amazing. He went from being one of the nation's hotest high school prospects in 2004 to one who abandoned baseball and everything else due to problems associated with clinical depression. He was drafted by the Braves in 2010 to play on their farm team. He was promoted to Atlanta's major league roster in March of this year and was named the National League's Rookie of the Month in April and May. A certificate of authenticity is included. Sean Weatherspoon, better know as "Spoon," is an outside linebacker (No. 56) and Captain of the Falcon's defense. Sean played high school football in Jasper, TX and college ball at the University of Missouri. However, there's more to Sean than his prowess on the football field. He founded the Spoonful of Hope Foundation, an organization that annualy holds youth football camps in his home town, Jasper, TX. Locally Spoonful of Hope supports at-risk children in metro Atlanta through various programs such as "SPOON Feed A Family," "Hope in a BackPack," and others. Certificate of authenticity is provided.
